Maori Language Week

Ka tīmata Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori i tenei ra - Māori Language Week started today.

Ko ngā ingoa Māori te kaupapa o tenei wiki - The focus of this week is Māori names.

He titiro atu a te Kura o Muritai ki ngā ingoa Māori o ngā wāhi ki runga i a Eastbourne me Te Whanganui-a-Tara - At Muritai School we are looking at the Māori place names we have in Eastbourne and Wellington.

Ko wai ngā ingoa Māori i mohio koe? - What names do you know?

No I don`t . Wararapa , .MT Ruapehu , Rotarua, Timru , Paihia , Toupo , kaikIoura , and Te Anau.
