Run, run as fast as you can.


While we were busy recovering from our class celebration, one individual from our class was busy participating in the interregional cross country champs. Well done Samantha Woolley for your fantastic effort, 17th is very impressive. Other results from Muritai students included Macey (2nd) and Charlotte H (6th).

Due to the strength of the Wellington runners they were able to retain the Phil Costley Shield (below)

Syndicate Assembly Week 10


Production
·      Well done on your AMAZING performances last week.  You also demonstrated a lot of patience and showed a really positive attitude towards all aspects of the production process.  Absolutely stunning!

Final Week
·      This is the final week of the term.  It’s time to ‘finish off in style’.

Syndicate Sparks
·      We will be having ‘Syndicate Sparks’ in Term 4.  You will get an opportunity to choose your top 3 options this week.

Milo Cricket
·      Mr. McMillan is hoping to have cricket practice this week.  TBC

Lateness
·      If you arrive at school after the bell in the morning make sure you go by the office and let Jo know you are at school.

Art Club
·      There will be a lunchtime Art Club in Term 4.  If you are interested, see Mrs. B

Touch Rugby
·      If you are still keen to play touch rugby in Term 4, get a notice from Mr. Ranchod ASAP….Y5/6 players needed.

Lost property
·      Need to find ‘homes’ for all the lost property
·      Look after your stuff!

Cloak Bay
·      The cloak bays need to be left in ‘pristine’ condition at the end of each day

WOW what an amazing show! The students from room 13 have shown tremendous dedication and commitment. Weeks of practices, walkthroughs, the dress rehearsal and 4 fantastic live shows! What a way to end the term!

DanceSplash

DanceSplash last night was awesome! So many talented groups with Muritai Schools DanceSplash/Kapa Haka group putting in a powerful performance to finish the night. All the students should be very proud of their efforts!

ASB Girls Football Festival
·      There is a meeting in Room 15 on Tuesday
·      Team practices on Wed/Thurs at lunchtime

·      Basketball teams are yet to be confirmed (There may be a second trial sometime this week)
