·      The school rule, this term, is for all students to wear a full brimmed hat during morning tea and lunchtime.  There are still a number of students who are in the playground without a hat or holding the hat in their hands.  Those students who are found without their hat (or the wrong type of hat e.g. cap) on their heads will be asked to sit in the shade (under the junior shade cloth) for the remainder of the break.

General
·      Let’s look after our environment by…PICKING UP RUBBISH around the playground
·      Bring togs every day!!!
·      Stay out of the corridors during morning tea and lunchtime.
·      As we look to finish our year it is important to remember our school values:RESPECT, KINDNESS, COOPERATION, THINKING POSITIVELY, SELF DISCIPLINE, COMMITMENT and INTEGRITY.
These values MUST guide our thoughts and actions through the rest of the year.  We challenge all students to display these values everyday!

Food for thought

Room 13 has been working hard on its understanding of the food pyramid and what a balanced diet looks like so we thought it would be a good idea to get a snapshot of the food that we ate in a 24hour period.

*Reminders
Class Blogs
The class blogs are a great way for you to capture a ‘glimpse’ of what is gong on in/outside of the classroom.  We encourage you to visit often!  We would also like to see the students commenting on the posts that are made, as it is a great way for the students to reflect.

Stationery Check
Many students are still missing pens, pencils and rulers and have also filled up their books. These are necessary for everyday class work. Can you please ask your child if they need any items and replace them.

Sun Hats & Drink Bottles
It’s term 4 and each child needs a hat to wear everyday outside. It needs to be a wide brimmed hat, not a cap and ideally should be left at school in their desk for easy access. Thank you to those students who have remembered. Students not wearing hats have to stay in the shade area by the junior rooms.  It is also recommended the children have their own named drink bottle at school. As the days get warmer it’s important they are fully hydrated.

ENJOY THE TN2W!!!
